Inviting Your Team
You can invite other people to your CrafterBy organization. Each person gets a role that controls what they can access and change.
How to invite someone
- Go to Settings > Team.
- Click Invite member.
- Enter the person's email address.
- Select their role: Owner, Admin, or Member.
- Click Send invite.
The person will receive an email with a link to accept the invitation. If they do not already have a CrafterBy account, they will be prompted to create one during the acceptance flow.
Roles explained
Owner
Full access to everything in the organization, including billing, plan management, and the ability to delete the organization. There can be multiple owners. The person who creates an organization is automatically an owner.
Admin
Access to all features: materials, products, machines, contacts, orders, reports, and settings. Admins can invite and remove members. Admins cannot delete the organization or manage billing.
Member
Can view all records and create new materials, products, contacts, and orders. Cannot change organization settings, team membership, billing, or cost configuration.
Changing a role
Go to Settings > Team, find the person in the list, and use the role dropdown next to their name. Changes take effect immediately.
Removing a member
On the same Team settings page, click the menu next to a member and select Remove from organization. This revokes their access. It does not delete their CrafterBy account.
